In any residential area in Detroit, you're bound to find one or two of these abandoned (now dumping) sites. This one was a former gas station/towing company left on its own to rot. As we stopped for a few minutes and took some photos, a nearby resident was complaining that it had been like this for decades and that the city has denied their request to have it removed. Such is life in the D.
