So the time has come that I leave for my next adventure in Kenya for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I won't be bringing my laptop with me so I won't be able to edit and my photos until I get back at the end of the month. There is a travel advisory warning for areas of Kenya, so I will need to exercise as much caution as humanly possible.
I will be volunteering my photography services for World Teacher Aid, an amazing grass-roots organization that builds schools in parts of Kenya referred to as IDP Camps. These are communities of people who have fled war and oppression. The residents are "refugees" within their own country. I think I will be able to tell their story in a meaningful way. That is my hope.
So as I write these words already packed and ready to go, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at what's inside my camera bag. Contents include:
Lowepro CompuTrekker AW bag
