As Seen at TIFF

The Toronto International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in the world spanning 11 chaotic days each September. They are great opportunities for wannabe papparazzi to use their newly acquired zoom lenses and for autograph seeks and stargazers to roam the streets hoping to catch a glipse of their favorite Hollywood stars. For me, it's also a great place to do some street shooting and to take some "lighter than normal" photos.

Mr. Brainwash, aka Thierry Guetta, sets up an art installation at Roy Thompson Hall. He is most well known for his questionable/brilliant artwork as depicted in Banksy's "Exit Through the Gift Shop".

This man needs no introduction. I followed the path of women's panties and it led me straight to him.

fake bono working the crowd at the toronto international film festival

What's funny about this is that the majority of the people there thought it was really Bono. They were chanting "Bono! Bono!" and everyone was stopping to take photos with him. What really gave it away were his $5 shoes he bought at Honest Ed's. The pants that didn't really fit him sort of gave it away too.

fake kurt rambis at the toronto international film festival

Kurt Rambis is bringing showtime to TIFF. After looking at this image for some time, it really made me feel uneasy, if not a little sad. My friend Tom said "don't feel bad, he probably just missed a free throw". Well played.
