Two photos on the blog today from my Travel Cinematography 16:9 Project.
So I am wandering the narrow scenic streets of Hoi An, Vietnam back in May. I walk into an alleyway that appears to be a dead-end and realize there's a wedding taking place. I snap this picture and was immediately greeted by the bride's older brother, who naturally invited me to celebrate with them. I had no choice but to join them. This is why I love Vietnam.
Note about Hoi An: it is a beautiful little city, a UNESCO Heritage Site and famous for both the old picturesque architecture as well as their custom clothes and shoe tailoring.
I feel like this picture could have been taken from the movie Vertical Ray of the Sun or something. I was lucky to catch this fisherman one hazy morning in Hanoi's West Lake area.
