As a sewer rat and ninja master, I successfully trained four mutant turtles named after famous artists from history. Each carries their own unique weapon and are masters of kicking serious ass. Rocksteady ain't got shit on us.
About the shot: Drains are my worst enemy and an inexperienced photographer's nightmare. They're pitch black, are difficult to get into, and smell like poop. This was a 20-second exposure taken with on-camera external flash. The light illuminating the far end of the tunnel was done with a flashlight that I am strategically holding in my right hand. Good times but not that easy of a place to shoot! This particular drain is decommissioned and over 100 years old, as I am told. Great brick work as you can see.
I also dropped my remote trigger during this visit, but miraculously found it floating downsteam. I brought it home, cleaned the hell out of it, did the old rice trick, and it appears to be working again. Success!
