One of the most talented bands out there right now -- the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. The band consists of eight blood brothers from Chicago, all talented musicians coming from a musical family. My introduction to Hypnotic Brass started with an encounter on Venice Beach in LA. They were busking on the boardwalk and completely blew my mind. Two years later I found myself in NYC when I began to hear the familiar brass sounds emanating from across Times Square. Sure enough, it was them. Two chance encounters. Fantastic.
It was an absolute pleasure getting to shoot these guys last night at the Great Hall in Toronto. Fantastic show. Great vibe. Do yourself a favour and watch this video and be amazed.
