Yet I Shine

I’m not particularly good-looking, but it doesn’t stop me from trying. Sometimes.
I don’t have a lot of money, but I put to good use the money I have.
There are more educated and intelligent people out there, but I can at least join in their conversations.
There are people who have travelled to more countries on more continents, but I am trying desperately to catch up.
I don’t do as much good for mankind as I could, but I try to do make small positive actions regularly.
I’m not the best photographer, but it doesn’t stop me from pressing the shutter button.
I’m not the most adventurous urban explorer, but I embody its spirit.
There are people who get on the rooftops and cranes of taller buildings, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the view when I am up there.
I’m a terrible writer, but I continue to blog. Daily.
I’m not inspirational, yet I have inspired.
I am sometimes painfully average, yet I shine.
