Sometimes, you need to pick your poison. Singapore, or as I like to call it -- CCTV Land, is riddled with...CCTVs. If they don't get you, the "concerned citizens" will.
I like to get high and go onto rooftops. But here, I am content paying my way to the Marina Bay Sands and take photos like the average tourist. I'm not likely to get better photos elsewhere, though the story of paying and taking an elevator to the rooftop Sky Garden doesn't make for as interesting a story. The Marina Bay Sands is cool though, there's this massive boat shaped rooftop that spans the length of three different 57-story towers. I can leave this country without knowing what a caning feels like. I call that a successful trip.
