I had an incredible day today! I packed it in early last night because I was feeling sick. The extra rest really helped, and I was amped and ready to go from the early morning.
My friend Andrew (who I know from Toronto) and I decided to check out a couple of wet markets in the city. Wet markets are basically food markets -- picture something similar to Kensington in Toronto, only less hipsters and more hanging animals. Not a great place for vegetarians to visit, but lovely for someone like me. There's a ton of colours, smells, and noises to keep your senses busy.
I’m not a street photographer really; I generally feel very uncomfortable taking candid pictures of people. It seems invasive at times. However, for today, I threw away my inhibitions and acted the part. It helped to have a few willing participants (see picture). To my delight, I ended up getting a number of pretty awesome shots in this genre.
