Visiting Uncle Bruce

As a kid, I remember watching Bruce lay ass kickings to Chuck Norris and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar -- not too mention the countless/faceless other cronies that dared stand in his way. He disposed of these clowns like they were nothing. At some point in time, every Asian kid I knew wanted to be like our Uncle Bruce. We didn't have many mainstream celebrities we could idolize, but Bruce was perhaps the only one we all could feel incredibly proud of.

Being in Hong Kong, I knew I had to pay a visit to his statue in Kowloon. Bruce: you done good in your brief time with us! I will forever be grateful for your many fists of fury.

Welcome to Hong Kong, Bitches!

So I just arrived in Hong Kong -- the first destination of my journey to Asia. The destinations haven't been finalized, but there will be many countries and highlights. This is the first of many on this trip.

Taken from the lovely view from the "The Peak" area. Done a bazillion times before, yes. Make that a bazillion and one. Yeah, sort of a crappy shot for my first, but I am tired and going to bed.
