My urbex lifestyle simply doesn't get put on hold because I'm travelling in other countries. If anything, being away only makes me want to explore more, look harder, and find more gems. I did manage to do a recent explore at the Shih Chung School Branch in Penang, Malaysia, which is a fairly well known abandoned building in town. Now, it is probably more well known for the parking lot that it's been converted into.
If you would have been following my Facebook page, you would have seen this (and others from this school) a few days ago...join reason to join...

Wow. I'm reading a book from an italian journalist who traveled all around Asia, and just yesterday I read a chapter about Penang Malaysia!
You're right to keep doing urbex when you travel, maybe it even makes more sense to do it when you're out of your hometown. After all, travelling+exploring always makes a good match :)
Stila
Penang is a great place. It has a ton of history to it and has official UNESCO designation. Hopefully the explores continue...I'm doing the ultimate one tomorrow. Stay tuned...
