"The Malt" as it's known as by explorers and locals alike is one of the most sought-after urban exploration sites in the city. It is, coincidentally, across the street from where I live. Demolition recently started on the Malt as part of Toronto's Waterfront Revitalization plan. Some of the buildings are coming down, and the large wall on the east side will undergo a face lift.
Malt -- your loss will be mourned by some (me included)...and celebrated by others.
