I had read somewhere that they don't 'blow' snow in the traditional sense. Rumor has it, they've developed their own self contained weather system that set to specific temperatures and humidity. After awhile, snow will accumulate naturally and fall out of the 'sky'.
I snowboarded there on my last visit. It was definitely interesting. Not much more than a couple of turns, but a memorable experience nonetheless. Can you tell this was taken at f/2.8 with a 6MP Canon point and shoot? haha.
