I've been trying to get into candid street photography lately and find that I'm at a moral standstill with my beliefs. Despite what people may think, people are perfectly within their right to take pictures of you in public space. The only catch is they can't use it for commercial purposes. Security people sometimes ask photographers to get off a sidewalk or something, which is insane because it is municipal and you have the green light to shoot there!
The dilemma I have is that it's mega creepy sometimes to see someone snapping random pictures of you (despite the legalities). I guess if I ever get called out on it, the only thing I can do is show them the picture I've snapped and hope that I've done them some sort of justice.
