My Learning Never Ends

Yes, I've only been shooting for 11 months now. I try to learn new techniques and read up as much as possible, which I do almost daily. I've been reading a lot about a 'strobist' movement that is gaining popularity amongst people in the photography world. It involves using your external flash off-camera, normally in conjunction with multiple flashes and/or umbrellas.

I jumped at the opportunity to learn more about this technique through a meet-up organized by people at the RFD forum. Below is a picture of my flash triggering with the help of a wireless transmitter. My picture is not typical of what a strobist shot is supposed to look like!

As a side note, I wish I had this bazooka to take pictures with! If only I had the six or seven large to pay for it...that's thousands kids...

NOTE: This picture sucks, but I think it's a good blog entry, no? haha.
