The Airport Seating Conspiracy

While traveling through Toronto and Denver International Airports this past weekend, it dawned on me that there was a conspiracy brewing in airport seating. I spent a good several minutes taking pictures at Pearson International in Toronto, familiarizing myself with the unique design, shape, and functionality of the airport seating. Here are my observations:

1) The same seating appears in both Toronto and Denver airports - same design, shape, and color. You would think there were more options in the manufacturing of airport waiting room chairs. Apparently not.

2) The arm rests prevent travelers from sleeping in the chairs. If your flight has ever been delayed several hours or canceled, you would sympathize with the travelers who want to lay down and rest for a few minutes. These seats prevent us from sleeping! Ridiculous!

More information as I visit additional airports...
